ICARUS

And when the human body is gone, who will dance then?
Perhaps only an echo remains: a gesture, a vibration, a memory still pulsing — suspended between what we were and what is yet to come.

Inspired by the myth of Icarus, this research unfolds as a collective artistic exchange between choreographer Matteo Carvone, artist and composer Camilla Metelka, and dancer Cristian Cucco. It explores a drive to exceed limits, abandon the body, and reach toward a dangerous illusion of transcendence.

Within this process, sound, choreography and light intertwine, forming a space of extreme tension where aspiration, excess, and self-consumption continuously take shape and transform. At its core lies the crossing of a threshold—a moment of risk and exposure that may also hold a fragile possibility of hope.
