[FAUN]

FAUN is a dance work by Matteo Carvone, freely inspired by the Greek god Pan.

Half human, half goat, Pan embodies the untamed forces of nature: instinct, lust, desire, and the irrepressible vitality of the living world. Forever pursuing the elusive nymph, he exists in perpetual longing, suspended between ecstasy and frustration.

In a world that celebrates the human as the ideal form, the wild has been carefully confined. Pan survives within an artificial cubic meadow: somewhere between sanctuary, laboratory, and zoo.

Conceived for two performers, FAUN unfolds as an immersive environment where dance, theatre, and installation converge.
